NADAV FOUNDATION PRESENTS:

Project "J-Doc", focused on state policies of the USSR that affected Jews.
The goal of the project is to document the ways in which official activity under the Soviet regime affected Jews, to provide evidence for allegations of antisemitism under the Soviet system, and to create a memory bank to preserve the experiences of the victims of Soviet antisemitism. Based on the archival documents, this database also highlights the means employed by Jewish communities and informal Jewish associations to foster Jewish identity despite official repression; to disseminate knowledge about people who opposed the regime in various ways, and to provide information about the underground struggle for Jewish culture and religion, for civil rights and for the right to leave the USSR.
